The Modern Squeeze

Game Zone: Egg Blown Collector

egg
A short yet addicting game about intuitively squeezing an egg for as long as you can before it breaks. As bizarre and obtuse as it sounds, it's a deceivingly complex game. You unlock modules on the screen that appear like random nonsense but actually help you predict your squeeze time limit. For example, the paddle game is meant to recover your "eggsanity" bar. The flower, once is blooms, becomes a lifesaver so you don't lose points for breaking an egg. Once you beat the story, the free mode is a great way to wind down and mindlessly squeeze eggs for a big score. Take a crack at it.

windblown
An early-access game, Windblown is from the developers of Dead Cells. So if you liked how that game played, you'll end up liking this, too. The big gimmick with this one is the 3-player co-op mode which can either make the game an easy swallow or a giant mess on your screen. It's great to see a game that lets you play as furry creatures, the worlds you traverse are thought-out and beautiful to stare at when you're not in the heat of battle. My only negatives with it is that it can be a tad grindy if you're doing this solo, and the music choices can unfortunately be distracting or even out-of-place at points. For a game at this price point, you're getting a solid gameplay experience that will only keep improving.

NA2
If you liked the first game, the sequel is essentially the same thing except it looks better on modern devices and you can visit the yards of other players. It feels like a missed opportunity to expand the game much further. I would have appreciated the scenery to be animated, or new play mechanics like playing with the cats. Something that amounts to more than just hoping to take pictures of new cats. Otherwise, the formula of the original is fine and it provides a nice distraction.
